I’m always getting emails about making cupcake totes (seeing as how we have so much cupcake stuff) so a while back, I got together with my graphic designer, and we talked cupcakes A few ~~days~~ weeks, and a billion sketches and tweaks later, and we had a brand new cupcake design! Steph is SOOO amazing, and I couldn’t be happier with how this design turned out! Check out the first batch below:

These are just the first batch – I promise there are more, non-pink cupcake bags coming soon!

I loveee the dress in this set! I also love how ♪♫Musiclover♪♫ took such a greatk dress and totally punked it out with funky accessories. Our Nautical Star Necklace is a good fit, but I think the shoes (and teal laces) make this outfit!

This outfit is so fun and bright! I love the subtle leopard print theme going on between the tee, the mascara and our Leopard Hearts Snap Clips. And I have to admit this – I totally own those hot pink converse sneakers …. and the hello kitty band-aids.

Week Off!

As some of you already know, I have this week off! (from my full time job) I take the week after thanksgiving off each year to get myself/my house/the site ready for the holidays.

So far, I’ve been really productive – I already listed a whole bunch of new bags on the site and I have lots more coming! I also totally holiday-ified the site over the weekend and created a gift guilde!

Today, I made myself a pair of mini glitter heart earrings:

Aren’t they cute?

I’m testing them out before I put them up for sale. I want to make sure the glitter doesn’t fall off or anything crazy like that haha

Friday Finds – A Day Late

Ok, so this is more like Saturday Finds. Better late than never!

I’ve been wanting one of the sewing themed Bags from Brooklyn Industries for quite some time. Yesterday, I got an email about a holiday sale they are having (25% off with the code FF2010) and when I checked up on my beloved bag, it was only $19.99!! I quickly snatched one up, and will be toting it around in no time

Nothing says “I’m crafty” like a tote bag covered in mini sewing machines and spools of thread.

I have a total back log of bags that need to be put up on the site. I took a whole bunch of photos this past weekend, and edited them on Monday, so now I have to find the time to post them!

I love how the gray on gray print came out. I thought it was going to be too subtle, but it turned out just perfect!

Those of you who know me in real life know that I’m a total geek. (I’m an IT Consultant during the day for crying out loud) So I totally appreciate this:

It’s a flower bed (tulips to be exact) USB hub! What better way to organize your USB cable clutter, than with these adorable flowers? I think I need a double-long planter for all of my cables! LOL

Crystal’s Mask Tote

This is Crystal’s mask tote! She wanted a custom bag for her masquerade-ball-loving friend (what a good friend she is!) She was looking for something blue and brown (don’t you love those stripes?) and wanted a custom print. Together, we came up with the mask design, and she was thrilled with the results!

Polyvore Finds

For those of you not familiar with polyvore.com, you should totally check it out!

It's a really awesome website where you can create 'sets' using different pieces of clothing, accessories, images and backgrounds. You can create outfits, accessory sets, or a work of art!

There are a lot of cherry red boutique accessories on polyvore, and they have been used in thousands of sets (There are so many talented ladies out there!) so I thought I would make it a weekly feature on the blog to post one or two polyvore sets.

The Wedding Post

So the day came and went. It all went by so fast!

We are married!

We had a great time honeymooning in Aruba, the weather was beautiful, and the resort we stayed at was amazing. We're already talking about going back! Haha

Now it's back to business as usual!

My New Closet!

This weekend, my fiance (Rob aka Beef) fixed up the closet in my craft room for me! It had been left as is since we moved in - with only one high shelf, and a bar for hanging clothing (which was useless to me, since I was using it to store fabrics and other crafty goodies)

With the wedding planning and everything, we had been putting it off for a while, but Rob finally put it up on the "wedding calendar" in our kitchen a few weeks ago, and promised that it would happen this weekend. He got up early to take measurements, and headed off to home depot to buy the wood (how manly!)

It now has FIVE shelves, and can hold much more of my stuff!!

Before we started:

I was so excited to get started, that I forgot to take a picture with all my stuff crammed in there. Trust me, it was a mess!

Midway through:

The shleves were in! But we still needed to repaint the inside.

DONE!!

I can't believe how much room all of this stuff was taking up before. I have room to spare now!

I added some new hair items that I had made for the Renegade Craft Fair to the site! A lot of these got snatched up at the fair, so I only have a few pairs of some designs :( I have to order more supplies!

Renegade Craft Fair 2009

I can't believe that it's over! I spent weeks preparing for it (sewing my booty off and making new jewelry) and just like that, it was over.

It went well, and we had a great time! We didn't do as well as last year, but not by much, so it was still totally worth it. I love to see people's reactions to my stuff in person :)

We both got a little crispy on the first day (Rob had to wander around Brooklyn in search of sunscreen while I manned the booth all by myself). I am also now sporting a pretty awesome flip-flop tan on both my feet!

And our friends Josh and Monica came by on the second day and kept us company for a bit. Josh bought us rainbow ices in spongebob cups (!!) He was a life saver.

Look at all those bags!! I sold everything with an anchor on it (and then some) I'm pretty much back to where I was before the fair - time to get back to sewing!
